'We absolutely loved our stay here! We loved everything about the island itself and our overnight stay in this traditional style home made it even better. The sushi meal provided by our host was such a great experience and so yummy. He was the loveliest host and even took us for a walk to see all the beautiful sites at night. Can’t thank you enough. It truly was one of the most memorable parts of our holiday. '

'The guest house staff were very friendly and helpful however we arrived on a very wet day and everything closed on the island so getting any dinner was not possible. The hot tub was magnificent and the Japanese breakfast excellent. Our room was very comfortable as well. '

'We absolutely loved Hiroshimanoyado Aioi. It was one of our favourite stays of our holiday in Japan. The traditional features of the hotel added to the cultural experience of our holiday. The hotel staff were the friendliest and most helpful of all the hotels we stayed in. The ambience of the hotel and the staff were entirely charming. The location right next to the Peace Gardens was beautiful, tranquil and convenient. We would not hesitate to book this hotel next time we visit Japan.'

'This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. '

'The staff was exceptional. They graciously made follow-up phone calls relating to a lost mobile phone and assisted us in locating it. Great location. Adequate accommodations. The major negative was the pungent smell in the room. It smelt like cooked cauliflower, which we mitigated by opening the windows and using air freshener.'

'The flat is located near the ferry port. It's a good spot to stay. The hosts gave us precisely instructions about checking in and out and they were very helpful, answering our questions. The flat is huge, perfect as we were with family and friends. Very clean, comfortable beds, kitchen fully equipped. Nothing wrong. '
