'Beautiful resort. Steps to the sand. Towels & free beach chairs at the ocean. Unit was clean. Free washer/dryer on every floor. Multiple elevators with little to no wait. Can take coolers to pool (always a plus for us). Coffee is wonderful. The Village is full of eateries & shops. Hope to come back soon!'

'Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

The room was very nice with washer and dryer in the room as well as a beautiful view of the mountains, however if our windows were open, we could hear the leaf blower every morning at 6 AM for about an hour which we’re not used to getting up that early. The staff really didn’t have the same information as the others because we kept getting a totally different story about the EV charger, which was why we chose that particular property we...

'We upgraded to a suite in Banyon when we got there and really were glad we did. The hotel room we had reserved was very dark and u inviting. We had a wonderful time and next time will reserve the suite for sure! Pool is fantastic, love the grassy area under the palm trees. The Castaway Restaurant was delicious! We love this property and will be back!'

'Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation.'

'Excellent beautiful place/location. Front desk needs help. Over hour to check in, no apologies and no one in front of us. Just sat behind their computers??? What was happening? No communication was. Got mail I was expecting, no call, email or msg to room. I pressed on check out and they found it. Front desk help needed'

'We have been lucky enough to stay at this resort before. We were familiar with the area. Love this area. They had done a good job of cleanup after the storms. Some things were still under construction. We had a crane outside of our balcony one day which was loud but we were not at unit much of the time crew was making noise. Kitchen was Bar Bones. Had to call in for a frying pan. But kbm was super responsive. Condition and quality of beach toys were great. Beds were comfy...

'The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...
