Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. We were just in the area for a wedding, so we didn't get time to take advantage of the kitchen (though there didn't seem to be a lot of cooking implements available, if we had! perhaps they are available on inquiry) the property is beautiful and we did walk down to the beach. There is not a lot out there, in terms of amenities, but it's a lovely place to stay.'
