'Initially I had reservations about the location of this hotel as it seemed a bit of a way from the main town, however it is an easy and enjoyable walk to the town along a quiet and picturesque road above the hotel. It's also a quick and cheap taxi ride. All in all I was very happy with the location as it meant I saw views I might not otherwise have seen. The hotel itself was excellent. 'A homely and welcoming colonial-era hotel that has been maintained in excellent condition. A comfortable base for Shimla with good food, good service, and extremely attentive staff. The owners live on-site and are pleased to meet and greet their guests. Would recommend strongly.'
