'Had booked The Himalayan on a friends advise and I must say it was an amazing, out of the world stay for 4 nights . Just as in the pictures it gives a real feel of staying in a castle . The rooms were quite big and beds most comfortable. Of course the view from the windows of the snow capped mountains and Manali town below was just too good to be true. The property was great with many facilities like pool table, archery range, live music and rooftop cafe. They can improve on selection of drinks (not many choices). 'Hotel is nice with good rooms but very costly. Also the food charges were very high and non justifiable. Reception staff not very supportive, charged Inr 4000 for one room which was requested just for 1 hr for feeding toddler, also charged INR 13000 for dinner and gave zero discount when requested. Though hotel is good but not value for money. You can easily afford 5 star hotel in the same amount. '

'Hopeless and disgusting experience. Staff is unfriendly and lousy. Checkin time is 2 PM which is quite late considering that checkout time is 12 pm. The rooms were not ready till 2.45 pm.
