'It was a pleasant stay at Radisson except for the fact that there is no heating facility even in a suite. We were given a room heater and electric blanket which is still not adequate for Kufri winters. But overall the hotel is clean and quiet with slightly expensive dining menu.'

'Visiting Clarkes is like stepping back in time. The architecture of the building makes such a refreshing change from the modern hotels of concrete, glass and over the top air conditioning. Our room was lovely and was beautifully furnished and the public areas of the hotel were also thoughtfully presented. Although some people might find it a little formal, the staff were friendly and polite without exception. We would stay there again without hesitation.'

'I stayed with my family at the executive suite. The staff were all very helpful and always willing and eager to help. 'The views from the property are incredible. The breakfast is great. The other meals are great. Service is great too. Only two things I did not like: ONE: There was a very low wifi signal in the room and I would not recommend the hotel to anyone who needs to work and as cell phone signals at the property are low too. 'If staying at this hotel, do not get a room on the 4th floor. The restaurant is on the 5th floor and whenever someone pulls a chair out in the restaurant, the screeching sound is heard very loudly in the room. After a day long trek, I wanted to get some rest. There was a loud party in the restaurant that went till 1AM. Upon enquiring, I was told that the party host was the MD of the hotel and they cannot be told to stop after a reasonable time. 'This property is excellent to relax n enjoy. Hospitality is superb and not to miss the food.I went with my family last week only. Every staff was so courteous , caring and affectionate that I really wanted to extend my stay. Food was superb except the samber that was a bit on the sweet mode .
