'De eerste indruk was een beetje sjofeltjes, maar dat viel binnen best wel mee. Grote parkeerplaats. Het hotel ligt langs de A19 tussen de weilanden en ongeveer 10 minuten met de auto naar Hartlepool. Er is weinig personeel en zij hebben dan ook meerdere functies. Inchecken ging soepel. 'I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep. The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. 'De auto kon gratis voor het Hotel geparkeerd worden, maar er is ook een aparte parkeerplaats voor hotelgasten. In het historische pand had ik een wat gedateerde kamer, maar dit was in lijn met de prijs. Ontbijtzaal en café zijn gezellig en bij mooi weer is het lekker buiten op de binnenplaats waar ook locals iets komen drinken. Rustig Engels dorpje.'

'Lady doing check in was lovely , super friendly and helpful . Couple of issues resolved quickly after a few laughs . TV positioning and size bizarre . Would recommend displaying WIFI login details in the rooms in future . Room needs a bin , not just a bathroom bin . Good close parking, big spacious room with a nice comfy sofa . Lots of potential in room , but in need of updating . '

'Recently returned from a short break at Wildgoose Cottage. The cottage is deceptively spacious, warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It is ideally situated just off the Cleveland Way to walk into Whitby, a flat walk approx 45-50 minutes or to Robin Hoods Bay a more undulating walk approx 2.5 hours, both with fantastic views. "Prima hotel en mooie kamer. Goede locatie als je naar The Stockton Globe gaat. De bedden zijn wel erg hard en er zit een brandmelder boven het bed die elke paar seconden knippert. Hierdoor hebben wij niet goed geslapen. De foto's die hierbij staan van het mooie strand en de pier zijn wat misleidend, aangezien dit een half uur verderop ligt met de auto. Niet bij het hotel dus!"
