Along with the homeowner, Mrs. Janet, being super responsive and attentive during the entirety of my stay. « We had a great stay at the cottage. Quaint details, like the Craftsman style framing, made the house charming. The neighborhood is great - you can see downtown easily and can walk to the local coffee shop and the famous Tipton’s biscuits! The beds were comfortable, nice crisp sheets, and a full kitchen- you could stay a few nights or a week or a month and have all you need. »

« My husband and I spend a lot of time traveling by motorcycle and have stayed in 50 vacation rentals. This is exactly the kind of place we look for when booking our trips; quiet, clean and comfortable. The house is nicely decorated with everything that we needed to relax at the end of the day. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the birds and watching the fireflies. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Mars Hill. »

« We had a wonderful stay in this immaculate home! The rooms are large yet cozy and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need to cook dinner. My family loved the hot tub. The hosts made sure we had propane fur the grill and even came personally when there was a problem with the AC. The workman came right out and quickly fixed the issue. The communication with the host was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again! »

« When we arrived we were greeted by Lynn and her son. They help us carry our things to the house. The house was perfect. Lynn thought of everything. Water in the fridge and a bucket of snacks. This was our first VRBO rental and it will be very very hard to top the hospitality that we received. We will definitely stay there again when we visit the area. The location was great. Close to shopping and many restaurants. We chose the Wright location. »

« This house was amazing! Old school hospitality at its finest. If you are looking to unplug and enjoy nature and true time with your people this is it. The host was so nice and really connects with her guests. The only suggestion I would make is more window units since only two of the rooms have them but there were box fans provided for the other rooms. A personalized message for your group on the board in the dining room, a personalized dozen donuts waiting in the fridge, wood pre chopped for...
