Cottages in Gravenhurst

'First, the positive. The cabin was clean and was dry during a lot of rain. The location is on the water and close to Gravenhurst. We arrived at the cabin not having received an email with check in instructions. There is no office there. Thankfully the cleaning lady let us in. We had called the host twice and messaged on VRBO inbox twice. It wasn’t until I texted him that he responded. I had asked prior to going if there was a coffee maker and was told no, yet there was one and I hadn’t brought...

'Had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was cozy, clean, and peaceful — the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!” Host is very accommodating.'

'The premise of the compound is run down, and not clean/tidy. The inside of the house was nice, however the foot of the couch is broken, rooms have damp smell, AC is not working, warning of 200$ fine if garbage was not brought with the guest.'

'Lacked basic amenities like hand soap or paper towels. Had to call again for Wi-Fi and cleaning. No chairs on the patio. Tv wasn’t working. Fireplace didn’t have supplies.'

'Very nice and quiet place to relax. The pool was very clean with ample seating. The lake was across the road and so was the boat launch. I would definitely recommend this resort.'

Well furnished property 2 Kayaks included Amazing Ice Cream shop within walking distance (Scoops) Cons: The bedroom with the bunk bed gets much hotter than the other bedrooms One of the wooden planks on the dock is protruding and is a tripping hazard'

'Bathroom floors and vanity not clean, sheets on one bed seemed damp, back porch was not clean, many days not clean, sliding doors had cobwebs at all corners, no screen door here, steps from parking to door in very poor, dangerous condition, kayaks were not cleaned off and made ready for use. This cottage had not been made ready for guests. Concerned that vrbo is advertising for unkept property. We wasted time, money, dreams of a wonderful weekend ruined!!'
