'Perfect place for a couple. Neat and clean! Completely redone since the hurricane. Only wish there was a towel bar by the bathroom sink'

'The accommodations were great! Kitchen was well equipped to make meals. Used the gas grill several times. Also used dishwasher and laundry and both worked great! It was in a nice neighborhood- we took a 3-mile walk everyday on the only sidewalks we really seen in the area. Did have a 10 min drive to beach and parking was an issue but that is Florida. Explored the area for different restaurants and found some good ones. If golfing is your thing, golf course very close. Overall enjoyed our stay...

'Our room was very clean. We enjoyed a heated pool a couple of times. It was a good vacation for us as we were visiting with family and friends in Englewood and Venice. We also traveled south to Punta Gorda to a sculpture garden.This would be a perfect place to stay for a few more weeks.'

'Things were in very good condition except for the coffee maker, which was v a big deal for me. It was very problematic. I had to get to a grocery for a jug of white vinegar as it needed descaled. Took some doing but I got it working. Everything else was perfectly fine.'

'The hosts were fantastic. This room was so much better than a hotel. Great bathroom and bedroom. The only 2 suggestions I have are1) there is no way to control the room temp because it’s connected to the temp set at the main house. There is a ceiling fan which helps. 2) there is nowhere to sit inside the room to work/use laptop. On my last day I found a folding chair in the closet but I’m not sure where it would work. I sat outside to work with my laptop on a pillow in my lap. I would stay here...

'Amenities at the apartment/condo was exactly as described. Easy 5-7 minutes walk to the beach. Overall, a nice place for a relaxing getaway for a few days.'

'It was a quiet place! Nice clean and comfortable inside. The water scenery around the property was beautiful! Tarpon swimming around! Alligators swimming around! 20-30 minutes from Venice beaches! All in all was a great spot for a weekend getaway! And its also pet friendly which is great!'

'This was a nice property, as in pictures. It was secluded and view from back porch to a lake/pond is great with a morning coffee or late night cocktail. Location is easily accessible to local venues. Publix and liquor store at end of street, and gas station across street. The Host does need to correct some issues and she does reply. Overall stay was great and we did a weekend in Matlacha (Matt LaShay.. LOL) .'
