'Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!'

'Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.'

'Property is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Port Perry. There is a covered walkway to the casino and lots of parking. Note that the restaurant only has a buffet on the weekend, which was not mentioned on the website when we looked at it shortly before our arrival. Room was very nice and spacious, as was the bathroom.'
