Located “two steps away” from the city center, the "Varandas do Funchal" is a friendly and welcoming apartment with access to a pleasant swimming pool. Here, you will be very close to the center of Funchal! Its location allows you to move, on foot, to the most interesting sights in the city.

This apartment accommodates four people in total: two in a room with a double bed and two on a sofa bed available in the living room. In the common spaces of the building, you will find a swimming pool, shared by the condominium, where you can enjoy the good weather and sunbathe in the company of friends and family! If you want to rent a car, the building has a garage where you can park. The house is fully equipped with all amenities.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
There are several cafes nearby. Most shops, malls, and supermarkets are a ten-minute walk away. This apartment is close to the Farmers Market, Old Town of Funchal, and the Cathedral. From here, you can explore on foot the various sights of our beautiful city (e.g., Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc.).

GETTING AROUND
For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to get to the apartment is the transfer. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi on your own at the airport! There are bus stops nearby to get you to the center of Funchal.

Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g., passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior to arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are available in all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.

A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.

By making a booking, the guest accepts the house rules and terms of stay.
