'I booked this place for my BIL’s 40th. Three nights. It was 6 adults, 3 couples. We could not ask for a more centrally located place. Easy drives to all the great distilleries. But out of the way and peaceful. The views of the lake driving in were amazing. We saw deer and a turkey. You can’t quite see the lake but it’s so pretty from the back deck. When we arrived one of the bathroom showers wouldn’t stop running. I messaged the property manager and she and the owner got back to me right away....

It's in an awesome spot, really close to tons of restaurants and the UK campus, but still super quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, riding the bikes over to the UK campus, and relaxing in 5hr comfy beds with lots of pillows. Perfect for anyone wanting a mix of convenience and peace. 'The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.'
