Absolutely stunning property!!! If I could rate higher, I would. Our stay could not have been an better. Tom and Hannah were the best hosts and we will definitely be booking again in the future. By far the most beautiful property and most comfortable property we have ever stayed in. Views were amazing!!!!!!

The house exceeded our expectations and is the nicest beach home we have ever rented. The house itself was clean and modern, and the kitchen was extremely large, well stocked with a variety of cookware and dishes, and had excellent appliances. The view from the living room is just magnificent, and the pool and outside areas of the property are wonderful for a group. I was a bit concerned before our stay about the road that runs between the house and the beach, but the house is elevated so that the road is not really visible from the house. In addition, there was very little traffic on the road during our stay, so the road proved to be a nonissue. The owners were extremely responsive and a property manager met us when we checked in to go over the property details in person. The easy access to Charleston is another plus of this property. Our family and friends would love to have the opportunity to stay at this amazing home again.

What a memorable vacation. The home was incredible from the moment we walked in - starting with the amenities and the finishing touches on decor. We enjoyed the pool, beach and backyard. We cooked inside. We cooked outside. And the office on the third floor was a great spot for keeping up with work obligations while gazing out on the ocean. The owners were responsive to questions or suggestions. We will definitely be back.

Best Vacation Home at Folly Beach, SC

Wave Watcher is an impressive vacation home at Folly Beach, SC. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the huge kitchen is delightful! There is plenty of room for everyone to work together to prepare food. So many amenities! We spent most of our time sitting on the outside porch enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean. The kids spent hours in the pool! Our hosts, Tom and Hannah, were exceptional! They answered all our questions immediately and were always so kind to us.

A class act

The property has a great location across the street from the beach. The sand is fine and compacted, ideal for morning beach combing.The house is beautifully designed and has abundant kitchen ware for dining in and entertaining.Four of the 5 bedrooms have en suites which is welcome for group gatherings.There are lots of amenities for entertainment when not otherwise out enjoying Charleston or Folly Beach, including a pool overlooking the beach.In all, a great place to gather for vacations, reunions and social gatherings.

Spectacular!

We enjoyed celebrating my husband’s birthday there with 3 other couples, the accommodations couldn’t have been more perfect with each bedroom having its own bathroom and large deck space. The location was ideal and the convenience to the beach was wonderful. The communication with the owners made the process super easy. I highly recommend this home and am so happy we were able to experience this magical property!

Amazing

Everything about the property is perfect even has a generator incase power loss on island. Clean with new home feel and smell has everything you could ask for and very close to beach ubers are usually 20 min wait max since close to downtown charleston food on island is equally as good great time would rent again

Beautiful home, perfect for a friends weekend

Met up with 6 long-time friends for a long weekend in Charleston / Folly Beach. This is the perfect house for a group - beautiful, nice, new, clean - huge kitchen (brought in a chef one night) and so many lovely places to sit outside. We absolutely loved it - and Tom and Hannah were so responsive and the perfect hosts. I would absolutely recommend this place for a group of friends or a family get-together - it's amazing!

Great stay

Tom and Hannah did a fantastic job with this home. All of the finishes are high end, the furnishes, finishes and furniture, it was all very thought out. All done with such great taste. Plenty of room for our whole family, little kids, the views are surreal. We appreciated all of the outdoor space and utilized every inch of this home. We had all of these grand plans for explore Charleston, well, once we got to the home, we never left! It was just that amazing. We hope to book again in the future. Five Star Beach House

We spent the past 5 days here with our family and it was perfect. So relaxing. The house is perfect, large enough to give us all time to be together but also plenty of space to go off and do your own thing if you wish. Folly Beach is charming, loved the laid back vibe. It was so nice to have a pool and an ocean right across the street. We all commented that it is probably the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Richardson family 2024 Vacation (Folly Beach)

Our family of 7 had the most wonderful stay at Tom & Hannah’s rental (Wave Watcher) on Folly Beach. The house was even more beautiful in person than online. It was very functional with plenty of space for us to be alone or come together. We enjoyed the backyard setup, fun game options, the bar and outside backyard TV. The pool and TV on the front was awesome also. Access to the beach was directly across the street. Everything you needed was close by….even our drive to Charleston. We only had one little issue with the lock on the front door and they responded with an option for that very quickly. Overall, the house was GREAT and well worth the money spent for our stay. Dream Beach House!

Wave Watcher has everything you could ask for and more! Great views from all of the porches, very easy beach access, loved the pool and backyard activities. We spent a week vacation here and barely left aside from going to the beach because it was so relaxing, comfortable and there was also plenty to keep our 3 1/2 year old busy! We were all sad to leave and are definitely planning to return!

Campbell Folly Beach vacation

We have stayed in vacation rentals all over the USA and many foreign countries and my family agreed this is the finest one we have experienced. If I was to build a beach home, I would do exactly what Tom and Hannah have done. They spared no expense on layout, amenities, location, appliances, furniture. They have made it very family friendly and having traveled 2,500 miles their help with a private chef, groceries, toys for the kids and even a golf cart rental made this vacation a timeless memory. This was our first trip to Folly Beach and it was a great week. Wave Watcher is a very enjoyable & over the top rental property. Friends and family enjoyed the oceanside private pool to watch the surfers and dolphins along with the backyard amenities. Great layout for large groups and stocked very well. Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day Weekend at the Wave Watcher. The pictures don't do the property justice, it's even better! Well-situated down the beach a way from crowds and private. The pool overlooks the ocean, perfect for small children and their parents to have a nice view. We enjoyed the morning surfers and spotted lots of dolphins. The kitchen is stocked with all the silverware, appliances, tools needed. Most comfortable home away from home for sure! We will definitely rent again!

Dream vacation

This is the nicest house we have ever stayed in!!! It was clean, spacious, and well decorated. We immediately felt right at home. The pool and deck overlooking the ocean was spectacular and the beach access right across the street was very convenient. Really appreciated all the beach supplies that were included. Cooking was easy as the kitchen was equipped with everything we could need. The local coffee was a nice surprise! The backyard was huge and very private, it felt like our own little oasis. We had so much fun playing corn hole, ping pong and using the putting green. The third floor office was great, as my husbanded had a little bit of work to do during our trip. Excellent communication from the hosts. We will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect family getaway, gorgeous house with beautiful views, take me back please!

Our family had the most memorable stay at Wave Watcher. The whole property is very family oriented with tons of space to spread out and plenty of activities. The home itself was immaculate and very clean. The beds were a dream and the layout was perfect for us. The pool, however, was the star attraction! Splashing around with the ocean in the backdrop was an experience none of us will forget. The stylish yet functional design of the home meant easy mornings, especially in the kitchen which was incredibly well stocked. We loved all of the provided amenities and beach supplies. We had such special evenings on the deck, playing games and listening to the waves. We (our kids especially) loved the backyard with the ping pong table, putting green, and firepit. Our kids are already asking when we can return!
