The village of Firgas, about 3km away, is the starting point for some of these hikes and can be reached by car in 5 minutes or on foot in about half an hour. Here you will also find a number of restaurants, some cafes and a bar, as well as a supermarket. The nearest beach is about a 15-minute drive (9.4km) from the accommodation. The center of the island's capital Las Palmas can be reached in 23 minutes (19km) by car, and the airport in 34 minutes (37.3km).
