« We were in town for a wedding and spent one night at the Hamilton house inn. Our room was, clean, comfortable and extremely quiet. Shawn cooked us French toast, sausage, and grits for breakfast. It was delicious. If we ever return to Monroe, we will stay again. 5 stars! »

Noise started early in the morning with no warning or concern from the staff. « I’ve stayed at this property many times. It’s extremely aesthetically appealing and the staff are super friendly but that’s as far as it goes. It’s nothing really special about or comes with the hotel. Basic amenities, no free breakfast, or no pool. And for the price you pay, you'd think….but nope, nothing. Actually, this is probably the nicest hotel in this dead town. EXTREMELY expensive for the area though. Anyway, it’s 2 bars on the property, 1 restaurant (entirely gluten free apparently),...

When reported to the front desk they stated they would let someone know and she mentioned that they were in the middle of switching out the TVs. I’m not sure why they would put me in a room where the TV was not working. The cleanliness of the room was poor. I kept feeling as though something was crawling on me. « The property was well maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was positive.
