We love this home. The host is very easy to communicate with and the house is very very clean and has all essentials provided. We also enjoy the beautiful yard especially the fire pit. There are lots of games for our family to enjoy both in the garage area and backyard. This is our second stay there and will look forward to another stay.

Check in was easy as was the access to the home. The kitchen was so well equipped including basic spices/condiments. Lots of room for more than one cook! The layout of the home was great - kitchen, living etc on one side and bedrooms on the other so great for privacy. The outdoor set up is super for cooking and eating. And that pool! It is a wow! Plus lots of games for kids of different ages. Our family had a great time.

Perfect location for our family and friends and teens. Conveniently located 20 minutes to everything. We visited La Jolla, Mission Beach, Belmont, Coronada, Carlsbad, Del Mar and more while every night relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire pit. Perfect spot! Host was very good with communication when needed. House was well stocked and had everything we needed. We'll be back!

Though we liked the house. There could be improvements. The kitchen was nicely equipped. We are cooks so we liked that. Says house sleeps 14. I don’t think that is accurate. Unless you count people on couches and one couch is in the garage. Which no one wanted to sleep in. The living room couch sectional was uncomfortable and seemed very used. One thing I would suggest is luggage racks they are inexpensive and worth investing in. There was no place to open up your luggage put the floor or beds. Hooks to hang wet towels also even if hooks are in the laundry room. Some simple things. All the beds were comfy but the bunk beds. Lucky I had brought some blowup mattress. We had 22 of us for a family wedding and my daughter and her partner ended up going to a hotel because there really wasn’t enough beds. We were lucky we didn’t have too many hot days because there wasn’t any air conditioning scheduled to go on n the house and the thermostat said do not touch. So we didn’t mess with it. There are lots of games and the pool was nice once we got in and use to the cold. The place was very clean which we really appreciated and we left it so clean they really didn’t need to clean the kitchen at all. The host was quick to answer us as soon as we texted with any questions. All in all awe gave it 5 stars

We chose this VRBO property for several key reasons, and it exceeded all expectations.Fantastic Location – Nestled in Escondido, it's perfectly situated near the beach, San Diego, wineries, the zoo, and several casinos.Top-Notch Amenities – The hosts truly thought of everything, times five!Convenient Airport Access – It's just a short drive from the airport, which made our arrival and departure easy.Charming Downtown – Downtown Escondido is a hidden gem with excellent restaurants and a welcoming vibe.Ideal Layout – The home is perfect for families and groups, featuring a spacious kitchen and family room, a large living room with a TV and pool table, game rooms, and en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom.Relaxing Outdoor Space – The outdoor area is peaceful and perfect for meals, gatherings, or simply unwinding.To top it off, the neighborhood is quiet, private, and safe. Family/friends vacation of 11 people

Property is even better than pictures. Very clean. Never get bored lots of fun things on property…. Putting green, pool table, hot tub, ping pong and many more family games. Inside the house everything in the kitchen is labeled and easy to find. Had everything we needed. Loved the out door grill/bar. Bedrooms were great, comfortable mattresses . Everything was top quality. The instructions for arrival, during our stay and departure were helpful. If I had any questions they were answered quickly. The location of the house was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend this house rental… you will not be disappointed!

Great stay - highly recommend!

My family of 4, which includes 2 teenagers, had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed the many game options and just hanging out together watching movies then we all had plenty of space to spread out to do our own thing (as happens with teenagers). The kitchen was amazing and everything was labeled. Super close proximity to Safari Park, which we visited, and stores and restaurants were within 5 minutes from the house. Unfortunately, our stay in Escondido was during less than ideal weather but the hot tub and the heated pool were fabulous regardless of the mild temperatures. I only had one quick question to the owner during my stay and it was promptly answered within minutes. We've stayed in vacation rentals throughout the US and Europe and this was simply one of the best!

Home away from home!!!

From the moment we walked in the front door we were in awe of the home. It’s wonderfully clean and had so many fun amenities for us and our grandchildren, who live nearby and came for visits, to enjoy. There was a game room and the yard was amazing with a beautiful pool and various sitting areas. Everything was labeled and it was exceptionally well stocked. If available we will stay there again on our next Escondido trip. The host was also very accommodating with any questions we had.

Beautiful Stay with Great Amenities and Entertainment

The property was clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. The landlord was exceptionally considerate and thoughtful, ensuring guests had everything they needed to feel at home. The backyard featured a mini half-court and a ping pong table, while the game room included various games, with a billiards table in a separate area inside the building. The pool and serene waterfall in the backyard added to the relaxing atmosphere.

Perfect property for a large group

This house was absolutely perfect for our family vacation of 4 adults and 5 kids. The house layout is great, the yard and game room were a nice amenity that were used extensively and worked flawlessly. There are nearby restaurants and grocery stores, and the drive to pretty much any attraction downtown is straight forward and only about a half hour trip. I would certainly recommend this property.

We LOVED this property!

We all absolutely loved staying at this property. From the minute we walked in the door, we were impressed by the amenities and the spaciousness of the property. The kitchen was labeled wonderfully and fully stocked with all kinds of equipment and the pool and patio were fabulous. 5 star Family Resort

This home is not only beautiful but so well equipped, it has everything to provide a memorable time for a family visiting this area. Or any group wanting to have wholesome fun. While close to many attractions, vineyards, and stunning beaches, the property itself is so comfortable, luxurious and entertaining you don't want to leave. The place is spotless, the staff is very supportive while never present unless requested and I'm not sure if the hot spa, the pool, the air hockey table or the outdoor bar and grill would win #1 in a vote. If you come you must visit Temecula, the Indigo Sanctuarty for an amazing massage and saunter over to the Goat and Vine for lunch…the whole family will love this town. There just wasn't enough time…we’ll just have to come back and if possible it will be to Luxury Retreat! Thank You All.

Perfect Family Getaway: Comfort, Convenience, and Fun

We chose this VRBO rental for three main reasons, and it didn't disappoint: Proximity to the Wild Animal Park was a huge plus. We visited in the morning, took a mid-day break, and returned in the late afternoon, cleverly avoiding the crowds. Pro Tip: The Safari tram is a must-do in the morning, as animals tend to nap in the mid-day heat. Abundance of Games: Whether it was sunny or rainy, there were plenty of games to keep us entertained, both outdoors and in the garage. The variety was impressive and appreciated. (Refer to the owner's description for more details.) Kid-Friendly Decor: The simple, elegant decor was perfect for our two-year-old. We hardly had to worry about them touching or breaking anything, which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We did encounter a couple of minor issues, but the owner's exceptional and timely responses made them negligible. A pleasant surprise was the well-appointed kitchen. It was equipped with everything we needed, and everything was labeled and easy to find. Very cool to even have kid-friendly plates and utensils. A big thank you for this thoughtful touch! Additionally, the place was immaculate – a testament to the owner's dedication, especially considering there were guests just before us. P.S. The quality hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided in all bathrooms were also thoughtful and much-appreciated touch! BTW. There were TVs in almost every room. However, we all choose to talk or just watch together.

Generally a good property

As a whole the property was nice, but pool the amenities, like the heated features, need to be serviced. The pool, though advertised as heated, was not heated throughout our stay.
