Cottages in Elk Rapids

'We were booked to stay in this cottage, however due to a maintenance issue, Nan reached out a couple of days before and offered us their other cabin, located right next door. She and her family offered to move so that we could stay there and not be disturbed by the maintenance workers. So while I cannot speak to this cabin, I can say that Nan was an excellent host and her property was clean, well-stocked and lovely. Would happily rent either cabin from her again.'

'Loved that the lake was only a few steps out our door and the lake was perfect for swimming. Also the hot tub which was shared was never overcrowded. Would definitely recommend to others as a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room in the cabin for myself, my 9 year old daughter and her two 16 year old girlfriends. '

'The property was spacious and clean, with full kitchen and a wide range of pots and pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, utensils, etc. Wifi worked well. The location was awesome, just a short walk to Elk Lake, and a short drive to the village of Elk Rapids, plus Traverse City and the whole wonderful area! Lot's of fruit and pie stands along the roads, and orchards everywhere!'

'This was a family get together. The location and home exceeded our expectations. From the easy check in to all the amenities available we were very pleased. We enjoyed the provided kayaks and paddle boards. The fire pit got plenty of use. Everything we needed, except maybe a better wine opener. The accommodations made for a perfect week. Thanks Trevor. 'Cozy home with a beautiful view! We enjoyed the backyard the most. The firepit right by the river made for a very peaceful night with good star gazing on the clear nights. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly evenings after spending the day in Traverse City. Large windows provided great views from inside. Inside was compact, enough room for 2 adults and 1 kid. The steam shower was amazing!! We really enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back when it is warmer and enjoy the river!'

'Ample parking for our car & boat trailer. Fully stocked kitchen. Huge family room with beautiful windows overlooking the water. Large, private lot - great for yard games! Individual a/c units in each living space were fantastic. Comfortable furniture & bedding. Gas grill & washer/dryer were a bonus. The dock was a great spot to moor our boat and enjoy a cup of coffee/glass of wine.'
