'Clean room'

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Everything was good and nice room'

'This property was a mess. No A/C in the lobby, check-in area, breakfast room, elevators. Giant trash cans were catching water from the ceiling, which was sagging, and they had towels down all over the floor. Pool out of order, business center out of order (mostly because someone's kid who came to work with their parent was in there, hanging out.) There is also a return vent near the back entrance where parking is and it was full of dust and black mold. The entire place smelled like people smoked...

'Our room wasn't cleaned, the beds were possibly made (couldn't tell for sure) but there were crumbs and garbage from the previous occupants in several places. The bathroom had clumps of hair in corners that had been there for some time. All appliances had caked up dust on them so the room hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. Management was understanding to some extent and offered another room that was equally dirty. We ended up staying the night in the second room after cleaning the bath and...

'Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was helpful. The breakfast every morning was really good,. Wide variety of options. Parking was okay just difficult to get with only one entrance but after a couple of days got the hang of it.'
