We were in the ‘Moroccan’ room. Photos for this property (or at least our room) are definitely outdated and stylised. Great location and it was fine enough we had a roof over our head and the amenities worked in most cases, but there was much to be desired in the rundown room. Only one towel per person and have to make it last for the whole time you’re there, no bath mat so we had to use our clothes in order to not track water everywhere after a shower (the linoleum floor bubbling in places possibly from this), sometimes a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Bed linens not clean or at the very least old, super lumpy pillows. The door to the room did not feel secure at all as it rattled with the smallest of movement, whole room and furniture was just rickety if anything. Despite signs up everywhere saying be quiet after 10pm, it was still quite loud as there was no soundproofing at all between the room and outside and into the hallway - not necessary the fault of the property owner if it’s an old property and relying on other guests to have manners but worth noted as our room was directly next to the front door. Only one small bin in the bathroom and we were required to change out the bin which is fine but there was no extra bin liners which they specified there was. Owner who texted us the info to check in was nice and good communication about the passcodes and rules required.
