« Another fantastic stay....I almost hate writing reviews because I want Island Secret to remain out secret! The house an property were exactly what we like - a secluded cottage tucked away near an amazing beach! »

« Awesome experience. The house was fantastic. We booked it for two nights and really wished we'd booked longer. Situation is perfect, the island is incredible. Kids loved the pool. Laundry facilities were really welcome (we were over from the UK at the midway point of a long trip around the Southeastern US). Everything we needed was in place. Such a short walk to the beach. Such a short walk to great, well priced, restaurants and bars. Really comfortable beds. Also, comms with the management...

« This was my third time at The Whale! I absolutely adore John’s place! The inside is very comfortable and clean. The A/C works great - stays very cool! The beds are super comfortable and the new fridge makes plenty of ice! The hot tub is my favorite feature where you can relax after a long day at the beach and gaze at the sky filled with stars. The location is awesome - very close to restaurants and the grocery. Also, a walking path to the beach across the street is a nice plus! John is a lovely...

« We enjoyed our stay hear. Unfortunately the weather was not very good for our stay but we can't blame anyone but mother nature. The couch could use an upgrade as it wasn't very comfortable. If the weather had been nicer we wouldn't have used it as much. We thought the place was right on the beach. It's only across the street but I thought it was right on. Overall it was a nice place. »

« Our 1st trip to port st Joe. Location was perfect. Restaurants, boat ramp, marina, shopping all within 3 miles. Host was responsive to any messages within min. Clean comfortable plenty of kitchen ware and bedding. Boat parking for our pontoon boat was a little tight but worked. »

« Cutest beach cottage! Seriously, the rustic decor, cottage feel, large comfy couch, beds were great, fenced in yard for the doodles, and a good AC this time of year. :) we truly enjoyed our weekend there. Location was perfect for the downtown area and boat ramp for scalloping. My daughter loved the outdoor shower, sitting on the covered screen porch in the evening was relaxing, and the updated kitchen was nice. We have already said that we plan to stay here next scallop trip also. Thank you! »

« I have nothing but high praises for this property. It was bright and greeted you as soon as you come around the corner. The interior was immaculate and we had virtually no issues with our stay. The bathroom with both a soaking tub and large shower… I LOVED it! When we arrived, the main interior door knob was previously loosened which made closing the door near impossible. I reached out to Vacasa as soon as I noticed it, and quite literally, had a solution in place within 30 minutes. A complete...

"Service totalement depersonnalisé. L'entrée se fait difficilement avec l'appli sans clé. Nous avons appelé sans réponse le numéro censé aider. Nous avons envoyé 3 mails, sans réponse non plus. Le lit était creusé et inconfortable, la chambre petite et poussiéreuse. "

"Motel historique d accord mais extrêmement cher en terme de services . Dans tous les hôtels que nous avons fait précédemment ( 18 en tout en 3 semaines ) une bouteille d eau était disponible et gratuite dans la chambre ici elle était facturée 10$ ! Petit déjeuner hors de prix 22$ les oeufs au bacon auquel il fallait rajouter le prix du café ou du jus d orange .. J avais réservé une chambre vue sur baie sauf qu il n y a pas de baie ! L hôtel n est pas directement sur la baie on avait vue sur une rue passante et bruyante ! Et pour couronner le tout il y avait des travaux à 23h30 quelqu un passait le karcher sur le toit et avait mis un groupe électrogène en route ! Seul point positif le balcon avec ses rocking chairs et l esthétisme du inn . "
