"There was honestly very little to appreciate about this experience. We specifically booked this hotel because it was only a 25 minute walk from the festival we were attending. However, after arriving, paying for the room, filling parpersork and being charged a £100 so-called “pre-authorisation,” we were informed that there was no room available due to a bathroom issue. We were then told that we had no choice but to be relocated to another hotel. The transfer itself was badly handled, as the driver ( who told us this happened frequently “allegedly”), first dropped us at the wrong location, forcing us to walk additional time with our luggage before finally reaching the replacement hotel ( 20 min walking distance from the first one). It was completely different from the one we had originally booked and did not match our expectations in anyway, and felt like a sauna as well. Because of this relocation, our journey to the venue went from 25 to 45 minutes, which significantly affected our stay and overall experience. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing “hotel” experience, and certainly not the service or accommodation we originally paid for."
