'A great place to rest our heads after a long day of hiking! The Glad Cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog, though keep in mind it is tiny! It was clean, the kitchen was modern, and the cabin itself was cozy and welcoming. We had our own fire pit and deck which was a great bonus, plus lots of space to walk our dog.'

'Fantastic getaway with our kids (10 and 6). The house was so cozy and felt like such a home. Well equipped and hosts were so lovely! We enjoyed walking around Charlottesville, doing hikes and sitting by the fire and reading! Beds were very comfortable and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend! 'Great home for our stay. It's an older home but updated and clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of extra towels for the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. We did use the Murphy bed which was also reasonably comfortable and had extra sheets / blankets / pillows. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area. Excellent communication from the host.'

'House was clean, nicely arranged and very spacious. The only issue we experienced was with the front door. Upon arriving the deadbolt which is controlled by a key pad unlocked however, the doorknob was also locked. We called the number listed on VRBO and received tje automatic VRBO line and was extremely unhelpful. I did locate a key box hidden in an area and was able to get the key with the same code provided to us. On our last night there we were again locked out for 15 minutes as the...
