'We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. The space was perfect for multigenerational group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We also appreciated that basic supplies that were provided. 'We hebben een prima verblijf in dit huis gehad. Alle kamers waren netjes verzorgd en in de keuken ook alles voldoende aanwezig. Grote tuin achter het huis en ook een ruime parkeerplaats voor het huis.Het huis ligt op loopafstand van winkels en restaurants. Al is het terug naar huis wel een flinke klim. 'Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

'We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property on Skye. Close to everything we wanted to see and very clean and extremely well maintained. My wife loved the coziness and charm. We were in Scotland 2 weeks and this was our favorite stop.'

'Heaven on earth is how I describe Isle of Skye and this place helped cement my feeling about it. The house is adorable and had plenty of space for our group of 5. We enjoyed our stay very much and particularly enjoyed the views of Loch Caroy in the morning and in the evening. We would easily stay here again if we return to Isle of Skye. The only things we would suggest for future guests is to be sure to bring some extra toilet paper and paper towels/ napkins with you. '

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
