'The place is great and well maintained. The room I had was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Being located in a national forest contributes to it being very peaceful and quiet. I was also there at the perfect time for the colorful leaf change. The beauty of the area is fantastic. The only downside was the walls are very thin. You can plainly hear the conversations and television of other guests. Other than that, its a great place for a quiet getaway.'

'This is clearly a timeshare-ish place. We had an amazing stay. We are not owners and booked via VRBO. The check in process took 2 minutes. The pools and play area are fantastic! There was a grill and hot tub directly behind our condo. I would absolutely boom again!'

'I chose this cabin because it was close to Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob and other hikes I love in West Virginia. I was very happy with the location and the communication with the owner. And it was such a cute place! Lovely interior. I would definitely come back!'

'We enjoyed staying at this property on Timberline Mountain. The property was clean and there were lots of small, but important, additions that made our stay easy and comfortable (e.g., the hosts provided coffee filters, k-cups, etc). We visited during Fall and enjoyed hiking in the nearby Dolly Sods Wilderness area. We were unable to find the access point to Dolly Sods on the Timberline property but we were able to drive to several nearby trail heads.'

'Being able to get a full condo for the same price as a single hotel room was fantastic. It is centrally located to many area attractions for the summer and right in the middle of ski country for the winter. The two pools, playground and mini golf course were an added bonus. 'The Hideaway Cabin is the perfect mountain escape if you're looking to slow down from the rush of day-to-day life. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with anything you could need. The property is quiet and peaceful with the front deck an excellent place to simply sit, read a book, play music, or watch the wildlife. 'Our family loved our stay at Snow Diggs while we skied at Timberline. Just a minute away from the slopes. The house had so many bath towels I never had to do a wash. The kitchen was equipped with every utensil I needed. Having the washer and dryer on the first floor was so convenient too. Our family of 4 was super comfortable in this rental.'

'This was our second visit to the cabin in 14 months. It is clean, cozy and has all the amenities. The ONLY drawback is the cabins proximity to a busy Route 220. If you have young children or bring a wandering dog they will need to be watched while outside the cabin. Two child gates might be handy to use while out on the large porch that has a beautiful view where we spent the most time.
