The 13th of Summer is a romantic get-away or a comfy family holiday cottage on the Marin/Sonoma coast. Be awed!

Note: the deck is secure for my 11 lb Maltese dog Sally Rose. The yard is not fenced. The pet fee is $50

Dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean, waves rushing up the shore. Grand sunsets from hug picture windows or even better from the deck with a glass of wine!

It's just a short five minute stroll to the beach.

When not watching sunsets or the sea, guests can enjoy the household surroundings. The cottage is filled with original paintings and sculpture by local artists. No need to work at a wood burning fire. An environmentally conscience gas burning stove is romantic for that fire-wood stove look, warmth and ambiance. The energy efficient gas heater keeps the cottage cozy.

Take a nap; watch the waves.! The westerly living room has an extra long down filled sofa, huge soft chair w/ ottoman and oak rocker. Lots of lamps make reading and close work enjoyable. The view is wonderful. The easterly sitting area is a cozy conversation or media area and has an overstuffed chair with ottoman and love seat.

An induction range and a refrigerator are in the kitchen. From the sink is a view of the front garden and from the stove, the sea. New smart TV

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, blue leather wingback chair and oak dresser. Reading the paper, drinking coffee, and watching birds scamper along the shore make staying tucked in under the down comforter a morning pleasure.

The knotty pine bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed, antique oak dresser and upholster high-back chair. When standing by the windows, the bay and Bodega Head can be enjoyed. Beach chairs and blanket are in this closet

Upstairs and between the two bedrooms is a half-bath with sink and toilet.

Downstairs is the full bath with shower, toilet, sink,and, of course, a great view of the ocean.

The deck provides a great area to relax with teak chaise lounges, table and chair for taking in the view. A cozy and comfortable dining area with the grand Pacific Ocean before you makes inside dining a delight.

The comfy cottage at 13 Summer will reward you with romance and relaxation!

Check in is 4pm and check out is 11am. Note: there is pet fee of $50 for one large dog or two small dogs.

Parking is very limited in Dillon Beach. The cement drive-way along the south side of the house will accommodate one sedan or SUV. Non reserved parking is allowed across the street along the cement retaining wall. I ask that guests let me know ahead of time if they plan to plug in their electric..

Overnight guests are limited to 5 people.
