'Wij hebben 2 nachten geslapen in het Black Bear Motel in Slade en hebben genoten; prima plek als uitvalsbasis voor alle activiteiten in Red River Gorge en echt een leuk motel om te slapen! Vriendelijke dame bij het inchecken en de kamer was ruim en schoon. Heerlijke bedden en ruim parkeren. Dit motel krijgt van ons een tien!'

'Very nice place our room was excellent nice beds and super quiet surroundings. Location is very convenient for visiting the surrounding state parks. Breakfast is very simple, but freshly baked.'

'The staff was pleasant and helpful but the room was outdated, did not have usb access to charge phones, internet was ok once I got it downloaded. Room door wouldn’t lock, maintenance man worked on it for over 3 hours and finally just had to change out entire locking key mechanism. Very disappointed with this particular motel. Usually have very nice and updated rooms. 👎'

'Perfect hotel. Comfortabele bedden. Goed eenvoudig ontbijt. Vlak naast Interstate 64, maar dit merk/hoor je niet. Natuurrijke omgeving, Geen grote plaats in de directe buurt (min. 1 uur rijden)'

'This was our second visit! We loved staying in this container cabin. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Great escape in the gorge area!'

'We loved this place! The cabin was very clean and everything was in great condition. It is a small cabin with a very "outdoorsy" look. The host was very friendly and communication was great. We had everything that we needed and more. The snacks were a good added touch. Planning on staying here on our next visit. Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay.'

'Excellent! Thank you!'

'Plum crazy was BEAUTIFUL! It was impeccably clean. It smelled good as soon as you walked in the door. The linens smelled freshly washed. Inside the drawers were clean (no food crumbs). And the decor inside the house was so cute. From the chair hanging on the wall, the watering can shower head to the mouse house in the wall. Everything was spotless and beautiful. And the hot tub was located on a beautiful deck and it was well kept and so clean. The only criticism I have is that the yard needed...

'We had a great stay! The place was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The host was excellent with communication, responding quickly and making everything easy from check-in to check-out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. We’d gladly stay here again!'

'Comfortable clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. The area for our dog was great she was comfortable too.'
