'We loved our stay and didn't want to leave! We had three nights in one of the Villas. It was completely private, the wood cabin was gorgeous and smelled amazing. We had a private outdoor bath in the villa and it was fabulous spending time out there. Both the traditional Japanese breakfast and the French breakfast buffet was a treat. Would recommend trying both. '

'You need a car to get there and try to get there ultimately late afternoon, for your check-in it will be very difficult to find in the dark. We were the only customers. From the 1st room the toilet did not flush, the 2nd room the AC did not work properly, the 3rd was good. The place needs a serious investment and renovation. The service is very good, very nice people and the Brazilian women speaks English. Great service, the onsen was made ready for us and prepared breakfast for us at...

'The futon’s aren’t very thick so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re a side sleeper. Other than that our stay was great. The owner, Yudai, is incredible and has an excellent sense of hospitality. When I come to Hakone again this place will be at the top of my list. '
