'There is a train nearby and you can hear the train pretty often. We didn't mind, but I think it's worth mentioning since it was pretty loud and pretty often.'

'Lovely location'

'Went for breakfast and every table was dirty and the food counter. Worker was too busy on her phone and eating in the kitchen. Workers from the construction site are housed here and parking is crazy. We’ve stayed here many times but now it’s time to find a new place. Area has gotten well overdeveloped.'

'Overall good stay. Lots of restaurants all around the facility with in 0.30 to 4. 0 miles and more if you like to explore further out.'

'This was the second time I stayed here this year while visiting my daughter. The staff has always been super friendly, the room clean, the breakfast always had a few warm items and was included in the room price so who can complain! Con’s, the room air conditioning blew very hard and cold at times, and it took a couple of times to tap my key to get into my room, but that could have been user error. Overall I enjoy staying here, which is why I chose to stay here once again.'

'Had a great time with the pinball machines and game systems! Kids loved them too! And it was a great location right by the highway, but in a quiet neighborhood.'

'While the rooms looked a little outdated, the beds were comfy, the pillows were great, and most importantly, the room was clean. The breakfast was typical, but tasty. Holiday Inn Expresses are quickly becoming one of my favorite places to stay!'

'The hotel rooms smell like bleach. I wanted to check out one night early. I was told several times the manager would call me. I never got a phone call and even though we checked out one night early I was charged for the room.'

'The room was very clean and comfortable . The bathroom was a good size. I wish there were a few handicap grips to hold on to. I don’t think it’s too safe to have the shower door open both ways with nothing to grab on too. I have a bad knee and lost balance and went to grab into the shower door and hurt my other leg. But other than that our stay was fine.'

'Good location next to I-64 and next to a Sheetz Gas Station. Many of the cleaning staff could not speak English and answer a simple question like’ Where is the ice machine?’'

'The property and room was wonderful. The staffing in the morning was a little unfriendly but the afternnon/evening person was delightful, We loved having all of the ammenities of the room. We would have loved it even more if they had a hot tub. Very clean and comfortable Beds '

'The property is very clean & close to the Henrico sports complex if you are traveling for AAU. Breakfast is included as well. Easy in & out. '

'I booked about a month ahead of our stay only to arrive and have the front desk say they didn’t have a room. Never has this happened to me before. I was told of course that I wouldn’t be charged, only to wake up at a different hotel to see the charges on my card. It took a few days of calling to have the manager reverse the charges. I really hope this is not the standard so be prepared to take a gamble booking here!'
