Blokhutten in Crystal Falls

'We came up to enjoy warmer March snow and sun. The cabin and surroundings did not disappoint. We always find that the end of snowmobiling is a perfect time for Nordic skiing. As we pulled in, swans were on the river, deer were everywhere and eagles were scavenging roadside carcasses from Eagle River to Iron River. We were a little concerned about road noise but the cabin was plenty quiet and warm. '

'We had a great time at this cabin- everything was clean and as advertised! The hosts were really friendly and easy to communicate with. The proximity to the 41 made it easy to venture out to different parts of the U.P.! We’d definitely stay here again! '

'Host was very thoughtful in providing the small necessities in making our stay feel like a cozy, peaceful retreat. It is a wonderful cabin with river front views, charming decorations and a peaceful feeling while sitting by the flowing river amongst nature and its beautiful surroundings. We loved our stay!! Definitely recommend! '

'We stayed here for our kids ski camp, location was perfect. We loved seeing the hill and hearing the snow guns across the street. The chalet suited our needs but is older. If you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you as it requires steep steps to get into. Didn’t bother us but something to note. Bedrooms are small with little storage and living area is small. We loved the wood fireplace and extra blankets. '

'The room was clean and had all the things we needed for passing through. It was great that it was pet friendly so our two fur babies could travel with us. Staff replied to our questions. Might stop on our way to are cabin in the summer!'

'The place is so beautiful! Lots of sleeping space and very peaceful! The boat was tons of fun on the nice warm days. The additional 4 kayaks made for some great memories early morning on the lake! Overall the place was amazing and Brian was super nice!'
