'The menu was limited, expensive and some dishes were poor. The room “Brewery” was small, limited storage, no fridge, tired decor and UNBEARABLY HOT. However must commend the staff for working through the heatwave. Particular thanks goes to Courtney who was extremely helpful and friendly. In summary hotel should investigate the installation of air conditioning or the use of portable air conditioning units for the summer months. The food menu/prices should be reviewed, The decor in the Brewery...

'Helaas bij aankomst geen schone kamer. Personeel is vriendelijk en wil op verzoek je vragen beantwoorden en oplossen. Vuile handdoeken die op de grond lagen, hingen later weer aan het handdoekenrek. Lijkt niet helemaal lekker te lopen. Ontbijt is goed, avondeten is echt veel te duur in verhouding van wat je krijgt. '

However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities.'

'Hidden Gem. Nice old authentic pub annex inn. Courtyard beer garden and several bars in different levels in different styles. Really nice rooms and very pleasant staff. 10/10 recommandations'

'We loved staying here between our visit to Oxford and Bath. The house was very comfortable and gave us the feel for the Cotswolds even though we only stayed one night. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess was hospitable. The price of our May stay was extremely affordable and we feel we got our money’s worth by far. We just loved this place!!'

'Perfect cottage for our family of 6. Great location with variety of dining and shopping options, perfect amount of space for the family to spread out or all be in one room together. Beautiful garden. The parking is tight for large vehicles but we made it work. The cottage is cute with historic charm and some low ceilings, but we’re all over 6’ tall found the charm worth ducking our heads for. Highly recommend the Dolphin House!'

'Great location, large well appointed room and very friendly, helpful staff. No parking at the property but easy to find close by. Bed super-comfy but I am a light sleeper and the noise from the extractor fans (assume from the kitchen) was evident all night and meant not much sleep Restaurant was expensive for what was pretty ordinary food.'

'Leuk hotel, aangenaam kader. Oudere, iets gedateerde kamers - past evenwel in het kader. Heel lekker ontbijt. Voordeel van een restaurant in het hotel. Rustige omgeving Parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar. Goede uitvalsbasis van de Cotswold voor wie van rust houdt. '

'Sfeervol hotel met een gezellige bar en goede keuken. Eén maal per week komen twee mannen Engelse ballades en oude volksliederen zingen. Toegankelijkheid voor rolstoel gebruikers is eenvoudig, echter een toilet voor minder valide personen ontbreekt. '
