'We enjoyed our stay! Coronado has a small town feel, it’s walkable, the beach is spacious, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in town. It’s just a short ride to other attractions in San Diego. Cherokee Lodge is comfortable and affordable. They have beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and toys available to borrow. 'Ditto to the other reviews that mention friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenience. Crown City Inn also did not tick any of my pet peeves: 1. Quiet - The rooms are advertised as soundproof and they appear to be. Our room was near busy Orange Avenue but street noise was barely discernible and adjoining room noise was nonexistent. 2. Shower pressure was GREAT. I loved the renovated tile shower. 3. Adequate light and dark - there were plentiful lighting options and we loved the touch control...
