'We stayed on the 2nd floor with great views. The only hard part is there is no elevator so we had to pay the staff to carry our luggage up! They were more than willing to assist. There is a mold smell in the room. We couldn’t identify the source but if you’re sensitive it wouldn’t be the right fit. The property is beautiful and a great location on the island'

'My third time staying at the Bower, I just dont think I can stay anywhere else! property is super clean, staff is fantastic and the location is great. The room are a bit small but as a solo traveler is not an issue at all . Just love this hotel!!'

'Everything about this place is fantastic. You are pampered from day one. I loved the personal attention at breakfast and happy hour. It's convenient to everything, including the beach within 10 minutes walking. I loved my stay here and will definitely return.'

'Not a bad place but keep in mind it is a timeshare. The location is within easy walking distance of the beach, Hotel Del and dining and shopping. My only issue was I got a suspect text from the front desk reminding me that only registered guests can use the rooftop sauna, whirlpool, etc. it was a bit accusatory maybe from a timeshare owner but the fact is me and the three others in my family were all registered guests. Customer service and tactfulness was certainly lacking.'

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Room has hot water issues. First three days had luke warm showers. It was supposedly fixed after I brought it up to the staffs attention but water still wasn’t hot enough. Didn’t even have to turn cold water on in the shower. The water never got hot enough to need it.'

'Perfect location. Rooms are dated. I don’t like it when they say that your room is available but because its a few hours to early (because of an early flight) you have to pay 25 dollar extra. Room was not clean (empty packaging latex contraceptives) behind the bed. Als in tower 3 there was somebody “welcomes” you with a wheel you can turn to win a 120 minutes time share meeting…..'

'Clean and good location'

'Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel staff is friendly. What I did not like is the 4pm check in. Because it is so late everyone checks in at that time but the n the desk was understaffed with just one person, the line was huge. I also did not like that other hotel guests prominently warned us not to use the elevators because they would get stuck. I’m claustrophobic and the elevator was really hot so we chose to walk the stairs. I feel the staff should have warmed us about it at the checkin.'

'Prachtig hotel met veel faciliteiten. Denken met je mee en service staat hoog in het vaandel. Is erg goed bevallen. Zorg wel dat je in de Marina Tower terecht komt. '
