'Everything was wonderful. The decor in the room and the dining room were beautiful. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was outstanding and great choices. The owner and her friend were very friendly and we had great conversations. It was definitely a highlight of our time there. It would be a great place for a get together and was close to everything in town'

'Our stay couldn’t have been better! We were met by Sharon who checked us in and showed us our room. I mentioned that it was our anniversary and she left a bottle of wine for us! The room was immaculate. We had all the comforts of home. Our king size bed was amazing. Breakfast was prepared by Chris and he really outdid himself. The staff was very accommodating. 'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...
