We appreciated the great customer service – the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were a few things that made our experience less than ideal.
We stayed for five days and only requested housekeeping once, but even then, our beds and towels were not changed. The room was only tidied, and the floors were not cleaned. There was also a significant amount of dust under the bed, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the spa, but we were disappointed to find out that it required an extra charge to use, especially considering the already high room rate.
There was no happy hour offered, and while the food was tasty, we found it a bit overpriced.
Our first night was especially frustrating. We arrived around midnight after a long day of travel, only to be woken up very early by loud machinery operating right outside our room. Thankfully, the staff were understanding and moved us to a quieter room.
Lastly, the bathrooms were very small, and some were not suitable for older guests due to lack of accessibility.
Overall, the staff were lovely, but the facilities and services did not fully meet our expectations, especially for the price we paid.
