'This little attic apartment is in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the train station and right next to the Bellano ferry stop, as well as cafes and restaurants. There was plenty of hot water so great for showers. However, the beds were very uncomfortable. I slept on the pull out couch and there were bars under every conceivable pressure point on my body, while my cousin slept in the bedroom and said that it was also very uncomfortable. I think the couch would be fine for a small child, but...

'Die Wohnung war toll und sauber. Die Getränke der Minibar sind kostenlos nutzbar. Im Garten ist ein Pool, der genutzt werden kann. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden außer ein Toaster. Es gibt nicht so viel Stauraum in der Wohnung. '

'Monica and Paolo were amazing, they are great communicators and their place was spotless and modern, exactly like the pics. We stayed in 5 different places during our vacation in Italy, their’s was the best out of all of them. They sent us a list of recommended restaurants in the area, they also came to pick us up from the ferry, to drop off our luggage in the apartment before the check in time while it was being cleaned, and took us back to the ferry when they knew we wanted to explore Varenna...

'The apartment was clean and had all the necessary cooking / dining equipment. The check in process was a bit convoluted with entry codes only being sent a few days before we arrived. This was unnerving as we were already in transit, but ok in the end. Location was good being 12 minutes walk from the station. Also an easy walk down into town, but use the funicular when coming back up.There's a local restaurant Schnitzy which does reasonable meals if you don't want to walk into town (or it's...
