'A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. '

'Exceeded expectations. The photos cannot capture the true glory of the setting: an extended log cabin nestling in a large grassy area, surrounded by forest. We had beautiful weather, which helped, but even if the weather hadn't been so good I think we would still have had a great stay.
