'Our room phone wasn't working, so we had to go downstairs to the front desk whenever we had a question. We made staff aware of this the first day, but there was never any follow up on this.
Wrist bands were used to enter the room. Three of the four we received failed within the second try.
On the good side, the buffet breakfast was excellent. And most of the staff were professional.

'Rooms need a lot of upgrade for a 4 star hotel. There was water clogging in the bathrooms. Our room refrigerator was not working( that was an issue as we had a toddler with us )
Pools were dirty and over all property needs a lot of maintenance.
Staff was really helpful and tried their best to help but there was so much they could do with the proper management.'

'We stayed here for four nights during a longer trip to Costa Rica. It's very central in Tamarindo (it's a small town, so most things are "central").
Perhaps the most delightful part of our visit was the host Augustin. He was very helpful in orientating us in Tamarindo and recommending good businesses in the area and fun activities to pursue.
