'Room 10: The carpet looked like it had been vacuumed for a while. Dedicated coffee was still hanging on the apparently washed coffee cups! There was a piece of candy stuck on the floor in the bathroom. There was no toilet brush and the bottom of the toilet was dirty! Too bad because the beds and bathroom looked fairly recent. With some attention to hygiene this would be a good hotel. You have to take into account that it is next to a guarded truck parking lot where the refrigerated trucks can be...

'Very small and basic hotel. Very noisy, rooms are located above the pub. Breakfast however was perfect. '

'I’m loathed to give a bad review, but we stayed during hot weather and the room was unbearable, at least 35C for the whole night. The top of the sash window was painted shut and the bottom only opened 2inches because of the safety latch. It’s a shame because the pub was nice, lovely old building, easy parking, the bar was good and the staff were great. The room was clean modernised and comfortable, the fan could have done with a clean to work better. We left at 5am to escape the heat so can’t...

'Parking can be difficult and CCTV in operation. Staff could have been better, kept being locked out of our room. Unfortunately 1 breakfast was poor no eggs and mushrooms not cooked. Not sure if we shall return '
