'Owner is neglectful of basic maintenance. Closet door was freestanding and not attached to anything and fell over onto my child. Bathroom doorknob was installed backwards resulting in my wife being trapped in the locked bathroom. Bed was improperly assembled and collapsed on my child. Bedroom floor was badly damaged and splintered and resulted in splinters in my child's feet. Front facing windows were missing blinds and exposed our private space to the busy front streets. Dryer was disconnected...

'It is a very cute and simple place. It is an older house but very well maintained. A big yard gives you a buffer zone from the other houses. Very quiet neighborhood. Near the center of town. I hope to look forward to renting this home for my other visits to Grand Junction. Highly recommended.'

'Mostly great but not friendly for short people. A stool or step ladder would help. Lower the bathroom mirror. With the steps, it is not friendly for someone with a walker. The host was responsive and helpful. Very clean. The back porch with a table was nice when in the shade. Sweetener and creamer for the coffee would be nice.'
