Pensions in Ciutadella de Menorca

'I had a lovely stay at Hotel Bahia in May 2026. I really enjoyed the character of the hotel, particularly knowing that it is family-owned and was the first hotel ever built in Menorca. It gives the hotel a lovely sense of history and charm. They even gave me a lovely little keyring featuring the traditional Menorcan sandals, which was such a thoughtful touch and a nice keepsake from my stay. 'Rustig hotel met heel vriendelijk personeel. Mooie kamers met goeie bedden en een uitgebreid ontbijt. Wij kwamen in oktober en er waren vooral oudere koppels, wat voor ons prima was. Een fijn zwembad (water is beetje frisjes) en een hele mooie spa afdeling. Op wandel afstand van het prachtige Ciutadella met vele restaurantjes. Aanrader!'

'De kamers waren goed schoon, ontbijt was goed genoeg (wij houden van vers gebakken eieren, dat was er niet) het zwembad was te warm.... Het was 30 plus graden dus misschien niet aan te koelen? Verder prima hotel, lekker dicht bij haven en centrum. Een auto huren is wel een aanrader om bij de stranden te komen.'

'This place is let down by very poor design. The pool is a waist-high lazy river without a current. All except maybe half a dozen loungers, are located on a small strip of fake grass next to a fence which is right next to àn incredibly busy road (not brilliant for a place marketing itself as à relaxing high end spa hotel). The rooms are spacious but lack adequate storage (there’s a small wardrobe but not large enough to house the belongings of 3-4 people which is what the rooms are designed to...

I paid approximately $316 per night for three nights (about $1,000 in total), so I expected a much higher level of service. From the moment I arrived, I encountered several disappointing issues.
