'Beautiful historic building that is now a hotel, the rooms are a bit dated, I expected a bit newer standard in the elements of the room. The location is perfect for sightseeing the most iconic parts of Santo Domingo.
The staff is very friendly and service was excellent, food was very good as well and we would stay again if we are to visit Santo Domingo again. Great fast check in, fast check out, well run hotel. '

'The hotel is located at Calle El Conde,the main street.That means you're close to everything (restaurants,bars,...).At 100 m there's even a supermarket !
Our room had a balcony which is very nice to watch people passing by.
It also had a kitchenette fully equipped (that we did not use).
The room was cleaned every day.
The bed was good. The shower was excellent,as well as the airco.
Omar and the girl at the reception (forgot her name)were very friendly and helpful !

'An der angegebenen Adresse existiert überhaupt kein Hotel. Mir wurde am Anreisetag mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel angeblich geschlossen sei und ich woanders untergebracht werde. Das andere Hotel ist in Ordnung jedoch weiß das Personal nicht gut Bescheid und es kostet viel Zeit und Nerven vor Ort zu klären, dass man eigentlich woanders reserviert und schon bezahlt hat. Wirkt insgesamt alles etwas verdächtig. '

Pretty design, location is great, included breakfast, easy check in, they were able to exchange my currency, and you get what you paid for pretty affordable stay.
Cons: Very loud because of the park next door, water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, key card was a hassle to open the door, they wanted to charge me for a beverage that I never touched, WIFI is non existent, walls are super thin, and breakfast is "okay"'
