Blokhutten in Chippewa Lake

'The campsite was beautiful and Angie was great. However, the listing had showed that there was a single bed in one of the rooms but when we arrived there were bunk beds instead. Overall not a bad thing, just not what was advertised. The T.V. didn't work when we checked in and because we had travelled 6 consecutive hours to get there we didnt want to put up much of a fuss about it. Angie had showed up right as we got there and tried to resolve the issue the best she could for how late it was....

'We got to stay in a larger cabin because someone wanted to original cabin for multiple days and we were staying just for one night. We were in Cabin 2. The cabin had lots of room. The A/C unit kept the place cool on a day that reached 97F. The host turned on the A/C before we got there to cool the cabin down which was really appreciated since we just finished bicycling over 40 miles from Grand Rapids. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. We...

'Wonderful and great hosts!'

'We had no air conditioning. We had no washcloths for a shower. Under the bed was filthy,I ended up cleaning under it. Most all electrical sockets were on the floor not on the wall. Safety hazard. I give it a 2 out of 10.'

'Excellent property nestled in the Michigan woods. Easy access and well maintained. Host had us totally prepared and ready to enter and use the cabin before we arrived. Better than expected and will use the property again.'

'We loved the quiet secluded log cabin. We were up visiting family over the 4th of July weekend. This clean, quiet, comfortable cabin had everything we needed to get a way and recharge our social batteries. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent a secluded get a way.'

'The place was lovely, quaint and comfortable. The view and access to the lake was perfect! We will definitely come back!Leslie'

'Perfect October weekend! All four of us loved it - 5 if we include the dog! We enjoyed the firepit under incredible fall maple trees. The sauna was a fun touch, and the home itself was great. We played games, cooked and grilled, explored the local area, wandered down to the river a couple times, spotted more deer than we count, listened to the owls, carved pumpkins and just really had a great time.'

'The property was just as listed and communication was clear and prompt. Everyone enjoyed their stay!'
