Check-in and communication with the host was wonderful. As other reviews have noted (and I wish I had paid more attention to), the apartments are showing signs of wear and tear. Agree with the previous review that said the pictures don’t reflect the current state. The location is great.

Great Communication

Matt & Wendy always got back to any questions I had within minutes! The two units were great, but there were some differences. I had 4 friends (one bedroom each) and we used the, what we called, "main" unit as a gathering place to have food/drinks. It had the better view and felt like a bigger living room or common area.The two units are separated by a small hallway and elevator (only two units per floor, so you have the whole floor).One guest complained the shower in the "other" unit was a little small, so they ended up sharing a shower with someone else, but you might want to review the sizes.Other than that, the beds and furniture were very comfortable. I liked the location of the unit and having a rooftop for a drink or smoke was incredibly convenient.

Location, location, location

Overall this was a great apartment/floor solution for the size of our family. Facility and access to it were great. It only lacked a few amenities for the group... tissues and a few more towels/wash cloths would have been nice. We were pleased with the accommodations and the owner's communications.

Great space and location

Great communication with hosts and early check-in; Great location; Two units right across from each other so worked well for our group. Some easy upgrades would make this a 5: more and new towels (ours were old and bleach stained), more glassware, more living room lights, bathmats in bathrooms to prevent slips, and ensure hand soap in all bathrooms

Finding every way to make a funeral visiti in the middle of December more comfortable

10E/W have us great space to relax, catch up, eat breakfast together during an otherwise very busy weekend around ChicagoLand. I hope next time we'll rent the same spot end enjoy more thoroughly the incredible location.

Meeting at McCormick

The communication with the owners was wonderful. Both kitchens and family room areas were great. The location was awesome, very safe high end neighborhood right off lakeshore drive. Two blocks from Michigan Ave. The bathrooms and bedrooms are a little worn. But overall everything was great!

Business Trip

We came for the SHRM conference with friends/colleagues. We had the best time. Beautiful views, great food, local attractions all in walking distance & comfortable beds. It was perfect. The owner was super responsive when and if we had questions. If we ever come back I’ll definitely look this place up. Thanks for a great place to stay! The city was beautiful!

Great hosts!

Great location & cool building. Hosts were very responsive. Had no issues throughout visit. It is two different units which for our group of 7 adults was very nice. Only units on the floor so easy going back & forth.

Great choice

Location is ideal. Having both units on the floor worked great for our family. Plenty of space and still close together. Hosts were responsive and made sure to check in that all was well. Parking spot in the building was a big plus, but it is a tight space!

Great location for a Chicago adventure

Our family of 7 enjoyed this stay very much. You can’t beat the location, and this pairing of same-level condos had all the basics covered. This rental is located at the northernmost end of the Magnificent Mile, and an easy walk to so many stores, phenomenal restaurants, the lake/beach and attractions. Walking just a block away, you even have views to watch the Navy Pier fireworks. I agree with some other reviews that this property shows some of the wear and tear of being a rental — not as pristine as the photos suggest — but it’s not anything that detracts much from the stay. The beds are very comfortable, the basic paper products are there and the gathering spaces are nice. The hosts make arrival and departure easy and were quickly available as needed for questions. Kitchen supplies and cookware are VERY minimal so don’t plan to do more than reheat in the microwave, but who comes to Chicago to cook when there are so many great eateries nearby???!!!!!! Overall it was a very good experience and in keeping with the busy city vibe. Lots of character. RECOMMEND.

Great location

Needs more towels and kitchen towels. AC is weak but bedrooms are fine. Common area in 10E is the weak AC area but not horrible just a bit warm on sunny days. Overall a great place.

Great Family Time

My only concern was that the air conditioner didn't keep the apartment cool. It was in the high 80's, low 90's the week we were there. Although we kept the thermostat on 65 and we were out of the apartment all day, the temperature stayed at 74 and at times a little higher.

Girls weekend Birthday celebration

Myself and my group had a great time in Chicago and the rental was better than expected! It was very clean and exactly as listed. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and all was within walking distance of the rental. The owners were super response and nice as can be, even when my group was a bit loud. :) Wendy and Matt were helpful, accommodating and answered any and all questions promptly. I would highly recommend this rental.

Perfect family get away

This property for the most part was true to its pictures and descriptions. We rented both units for a family weekend with kids coming from California. The place was very clean and well stocked. It does need a freshening of paint but was updated and perfect for our families! The owners were very communicative and accommodating. We would strongly recommend staying here! Thank you for such a wonderful place in the perfect location!

Thanksgiving in Chicago

Our family of four rented this property for several days over Thanksgiving. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and the separate condos allowed our adult kids to also have their own chill space. The beds and pillows were super comfy. The location is lovely and quiet but super close to everything (great shopping). The condos have plenty of space with beautifully updated kitchens and floor to ceiling windows to take in the view of Lake Michigan. The property owners were responsive and extremely flexible surrounding check-in/check-out times and storage of our luggage after check-out which was so appreciated. We frequented the coffee shop down the street in The Drake Hotel, dined at Eleven City Diner & Sociale in South Loop, Willow Room & Pequod's in Lincoln Park and had a great catered meal from The Goddess and Grocer. Thank you for everything! We had a lovely time!

A decent stay

We stayed here with another family and the 2 condos across from each other was really nice. We each got our own space with bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. The property manager was extremely responsive and attentive. Check in and other details are well laid out. The properties were overall clean. The location was also really nice. There were a few negatives: The listing pictures look much better than the property was in-person. There are stains on the carpets in a few rooms. Many of the windows were cracked and needed to be replaced. The property manager let us know of this after we booked (it wasn't in the listing) and we may have reconsidered given that we have small kids with us and were thus worried about them going near any of the windows. Both places could definitely use a little TLC or the listing pictures need to be updated to reflect what the properties actually look like.
