'I stayed in the cottage for 3 nights with a friend of mine. It was a perfect base for us to explore the nearby mountain roads for daily drives, such as the Tail of the Dragon. Bill was super friendly at the front desk and gave us helpful tips such as a hike to a nearby amazing waterfall. The cottage was clean and tidy on the inside, a 70s vibe with wood paneling and furniture and a small kitchen with everything we needed. There was coffee, filters and plenty of towels. 'Everything was better than expected. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, the bed and pillows were comfortable, actually all the amenities were just fine. The only thing off was the air conditioner. It sounded like a jet was flying over whenever it was running. I got used to it real fast and it actually helped me sleep. Best part was the breakfast. Everything was very well organized and clean. Kudos to the manager. For the price, I would stay here again.'

'Room itself was ok. I was expecting walkin shower but it was a tub with hand bars all around. There was no place other than the desk to put our suitcases and no place to hang our clothes. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1. Would not go there again. Needless to say I was disappointed. The air conditioning was very very loud my husband said.'

'Dinner was excellent with great service. Breakfast was ok. Picnic lunches were good. Place needs a deep cleaning. King room bed was comfortable but the floor carpet was super dirty. Guests walking upstairs generates lots of squeaking. Summer room was dirty with very old sofas. We felt walking around chairs were dusty and the property should be in better condition given the prices.'

'Room was clean and the hotel is in a good location near downtown. There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby. Its a older hotel with rooms entered from the outside. Great for a one night stay.'
