'I have been coming to this cabin since I was 9. It was wonderful to come back to a place with so many fond memories. Having central air and a furnace is a lovely upgrade.However being a little passed 9 years now😉I found the many rugs and the shower curtain a bit of challenge. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to gift a stay in the cabin (that their great,great,great grandfather built) to our adult grandchildren at some point in the future'

'Rustic cabin was perfect for a getaway with my husband and sister-in-law. Close to Makinac City with easy access to the island ferries. The cabin could use some additional updates but was fine as is.'

'My family of six loved staying in this adorable cabin on the beach. The space inside and outside was great. It would have been nice to have a sponge as well as a broom and dustpan for cleaning up after the kiddos. The futon cushion was very comfortable. My biggest issue was one of the spare blankets was messy. We set it conspicuously to the side for housekeeping to address after we checked out. Thankfully, there was plenty of other bedding to accommodate our crew. We plan to return with...

'Very peaceful!!! The cabins had everything needed to make the stay very enjoyable! We stayed in cabin #7 and wish we would have been able to enjoy the cabin and rustic atmosphere longer!! Will definitely return! The host Richie introduced himself and inquired if there was anything we needed or questions we had that he could help answer! Very hospitable!! Amazing sunrise and sunset picture advantages to add yo your memories!! Highly recommend!! '

'We loved our stay. There are 2 maintenance issues that did not detract from our enjoyment but the owner should know about. The tv in the upstairs bedroom at the back does nor work. The microwave needs to be replaced. Most of the buttons do not function. We were able to turn it on and manually turn it off after a minute but you cant't use any other button'

'It was a nice lil cabin tucked away behind a Hotel, not a spot you would think, but the Cabin sits right on the beach & you can sit on the porch & enjoy the sunrise & sunset every day & night, or on the beach in the nice chairs & loungers on the beach, we enjoyed the fires at night, jst need to go get the wood (The Mall, convenient store right up the road was the best & cheapest $5 bundles) dont buy from the gas syations $9.99 bundkes.we will be back!! 'Location to the lake was amazing! Loved waking up and looking out at the lake, however it wasnt the best for swimming. It was hot when we were there so it would be nice to be able to open more windows. Really glad i brought a fan. It was really cute with a little more work it would be excellent.
