'The hotel is in an old building, so some of the inconveniences can be described as 'charming'. However, do not visit when you value your nights rest, since the bed feels like it is made from a bag of rocks. More comfort wouldn't have mattered anyway since sleeping was impossible due to the bright lights and drunk screamers outside. The bathroom's low, tiny sink and lack of any shelves, storage or hooks, forcing us to put everything on the floor, left us with back pain. Halfway through our visit...

'Het is niet een echt goed hotel. We waren op doorreis naar Schotland en hotels in de omgeving waren ivm de common wealth games erg duur. De prijs vh hotel is redelijk en je kunt op loopafstand naar de trein die je naar Glasgow centrum brengt, wat we hebben gedaan. De service is uitstekend, super vriendelijk personeel. De bedden zijn niet goed, te zacht.'

'Shower in room 5 needs the tile grout bleached and cleaned properly. Also the room window is not sealed and locking properly. noise from traffic is constant as a result. All fine otherwise '

'A basic hotel with simple rooms. The fourth bed in our room was noticeably shorter, so my 13-year-old child didn’t quite fit. That said, the restaurant was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. And although the rooms were quite basic, they still met all our needs.'

'Schitterend hotel. Mooiste kamer ooit en een waanzinnig restaurant. Op 1 jongeman na, was het personeel wat stug. Maar de service fantastisch. '

'I was at a lovely room with plenty of space and good amenities but the shower head was mouldy and mostly blocked. It is a nice place and something like this really made the visit less enjoyable.'

'Good hotel near Maxim Park, plenty of power outlets to charge electrical devices. Due to its location one would need a car. Recommended for businessmen, not necessarily for tourists.'
