B&B in Centrale Staten

'Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room needed thorough dusting, new bed linens as they are a bit long in the tooth, and provide extra pillows with cases. Beware trains can rumble nearby at various times in the night.'

'Loved that the owner shared the history of the house, it was well preserved and beautiful. Room was great and each room had a corresponding private bath with toiletries, towels, and even robes. Location was perfect for walkability and breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!'

'The inn was awesome. Took one back in time. The staff were well informed of the history of the inn. Breakfast was great. Real eggs were perfect. The room was nice. However the spiders and stink bugs could have been addressed and taken care if better. The only other thing was the bed was extremely uncomfortable. If ihad ti pick on one other thing the building could use a little tlc. '

'Fabulous restored 1880's mansion. Richard is very attentive and will give you a tour of the place when you arrive. The Expedia listing did not note that our particular room (Martha) had a bathtub but no shower. Also, the double bed, in a period bedframe, was on the small side. We're flexible, it was fine. Full, delicious breakfast but it is at a set time and is coursed out, so it lasts a while. Worth it, but you may want to plan your morning accordingly. I would stay again, but probably in one...

'We had easy checkin upon arrival. Our room was clean and easy parking. Our walk downtown was about 5 minutes. Tiffany served us an amazing breakfast. She was so accommadating and easy to speak with. Chocolate chip cookies and wine in the afternoon if you wanted. Being early risers we would have liked coffee earlier. Would go back again. '

'This is one of the best B&B's I and my wife have stayed. The walk in shower is truly amazing and has a door that opens out into the private porch area and hot tub. The breakfast is really delightful and plentiful. The hosts are great people and they will leave you in peace if that is what you want. We chose to visit with them and had pleasant conversation. We highly staying here you want peace and tranquility. It is such a lovely gem in the woods! '
