'My wife and I spent 5 nights at this cabin from 6/27-7/2 of 2026. The first thing I will say about this cabin is the view is second to none. The only thing you see off the back deck is a stunning mountain range. We watched the moon rise over this range every single night and it was breathe taking. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was more than adequately stocked with silverware, dishes and grilling supplies. We utilized the grill once which worked perfectly. The stove multiple times with no...

'The inside of the cabin is magical with all the fairy lights! The kitchen is organized and well stocked with like new everything! A rare find in my experience and greatly appreciated! We spent lots of time in the wonderful deck where we saw eagles and hummingbirds and all kinds of wonderful critters! The campfire area with chairs just inside the basement door was great! We think some of the beds could use an upgrade especially if more adults are staying. The linens and blankets are top...

'I found the Rusty Lantern is a beautiful home in the mountains. The rear porch is large with an awesome view. The large kitchen makes preparing meals simple. There is a large table in the kitchen and a huge picnic table on the back porch. The house and porches were perfectly clean, not a spider web in sight. If you want quiet, and I mean really quiet, the Rusty Lantern is for you.'
