Blokhutten in Caye Caulker Marine Reserve

'This hotel is old and needs updated. Nothing like the pictures in the photo . No elevators and stairs are not manageable especially after a long day of walking around the island. You have to ask for everything including towels. The rooms are dark and cold. No view except to a dirty yard space between buildings. If you are just using it to sleep then this is the hotel for you. It does not feeling like a vacation room on the cayes. Not worth the cost. Very disappointed will never stay here again....

'We had originally booked a 3-night stay and needed to change our dates. We arranged the change by email with the hotel manager, who confirmed in writing that everything was updated. However, upon arrival, we were told that the reservation had never been changed and that there was no availability for our third night. We showed the written confirmation to the manager on site, but he explained that the employee who had confirmed the change was no longer working there and that the hotel would not...

'Very safe and towards the center of the island. Walking distance to everything. Literally right at the water taxi.'

'What a nice room with patio! Great bed and shower, everything fresh and modern. The Italian owners do everything to make your stay great. Cabana dreams is perfectly located with max 5 minutes away from the busy streets. The garden is well done with beautiful palm trees. The whole place has been designed with excellent eye for detail. We would defintely come back here.'

'Geweldige locatie, heerlijk grote kamer met een enorm bed, fijn & goed onderhouden zwembad, super vriendelijk personeel! Fijn dat er een keukentje is, al is het eten in restaurant ook prima. Dagelijkse cleaning service is ook heel fijn! '
